NOJIRIKO
GREENTOWN
Nojiriko Greentown was developed and subdivided in 1961 as Japan’s first villa community to combine sports and leisure facilities with a social organization for holiday home owners.
The villa community is situated at an elevation of 650 to 800 metres around Lake Nojiri and extends across part of the Joshinetsu Kogen National Park. With a total area of 1,320,000 square metres it is one of Japan’s largest resort towns.

Nojiriko Greentown’s holiday homes are unlike typical residential properties in Japan, with each home offering its own unique architectural style, character and setting amongst the trees. Large wooded blocks and winding private roads allow you to experience the “snowy cabin in the woods” dream, while still enjoying the convenience of being a short drive to all essential amenities.
For approximately ¥100,000/year, Nojiriko Greentowns Union fees are some of the cheapest of any fully serviced private community in all of Japan. The fee covers maintenance of all Greentowns private roads, winter snow blowing and road clearing, water utility maintenance, security and management services, direct access to contractors and property maintenance services and weekly rubbish collection. All these services combined with an online billing system make property ownership in Nojiriko Greentown simple and stress-free year round.

With limited supply and strong appeal to both lifestyle buyers and holiday rental investors, Nojiriko Greentown offers an exclusive opportunity to own a truly distinctive four-season property in one of Japan’s most desirable mountain resort locations.
